Hi Alan,
Anything you can provide for the night of 30/31 July 1941 would be gratefully received. My uncle PJN Adshead was the pilot of Hampden AE266 which crashed while attempting a landing at RAF Upwood (on return from the raid on Cologne that night which was launched from North Luffenham). It was his first opertional flight as pilot and all aboard were killed except one - Fl Sgt Scott. I believe a second Hampden (P4399?) crashed in Dartford the same night in a thunderstorm.
Regards,
Brett
